History

Finally after all these years, I made my pilgrimage. Anyone who's ever known me as a teenager is aware of how passionate, obsessive even, I was over these boys. It was such a joy to finally come, and walk around, and hear those accents (the best accents in the world), to feel the bricks, to pace the streets, to see the sea. I made friends with a lovely Japanese girl, a fellow fan, also on her own, and together we hung in the Cavern and listened to a mersey sound band, named (quite appropriately) the Shakers... NZ and Japan sitting side by side, in a strange place...twas lovely.

I had the honour...




...to photograph 3 extraordinary women for a project I can tell you about soon.  It's not my project, so until it comes to fruition, I'll keep quiet. But it's a beauty!

I'm planting


...because it's spring out there. Hallelujah

City from hotel window, taken over skype




I'm not there, Daniel is. But I get to be at the other end of skype, wishing I was. Last night he called me from his hotel lobby, which incidentally became a nightclub entrance and strip bar by night.  Hordes of mini-skirted young women piled in through the doors behind him, adjusting themselves in mirrored surfaces...
